The next KPO concert...

Our next concert will be on Sunday 23rd November at 7.30pm Khachaturian - Masquerade Suite Tchaikovsky - Romeo and Juliet Overture Interval Rimsky-Korsakov - Sheherezade   On Sunday 22nd June we played the following programme: Beethoven - Fidelio Overture op.72c Kurt Weill - Symphony no.2 Interval Brahms - Violin Concerto (Soloist: Melina Mandozzi)   On Sunday 25th November we played the following programme: Mendelssohn - Hebrides Overture op.26 Fauré - Pavane, op.50 R. Strauss - Horn Concerto no.1 (soloist - Richard Bissill) Mendelssohn - Symphony no.4 "The Italian" op.90     On Sunday 25th November we played the following programme: Elgar: Cockaigne Overture Saint-Saens: Cello Concerto No. 1 Soloist: Thomas Carroll Shostakovich - Symphony No. 12     On 24th June 2007 we played the following programme to a very enthusiastic aduience: Wagner: Lohengrin - Prelude to Act 3 Dvorak - American Suite Op 98 Wagner - Tristan and Isolde : Prelude and Liebestod R Strauss - 4 Last Songs (Sarah Estill) Wagner - Overture "The Mastersingers" All Concerts start at 7.30 p.m. For more details - and for a biography on the delightful Sarah Estill, our soloist in the 4 Last Songs of Strauss and in the Liebestod, CLICK here.
